About Us!

Hi, I’m Megan — the dyer, maker and slightly overactive imagination behind all of this.

I’m a mom, knitter, lifelong creative and lover of colour, stories and tiny details that probably take far more time than anyone will ever realize. When I’m not dyeing yarn, I’m usually running my kids to hockey, soccer, football, basketball, dance, gymnastics or whatever else they’ve decided to try next — often with a knitting project stashed in my purse — and wishing I had more time to actually knit or crochet with my own yarn.

This business grew out of my love for creating, but over time it has become about much more than simply making beautiful yarn. I believe yarn can hold a memory, capture a feeling, start a conversation, or invite you into an entirely different world.

Each collection begins with an idea — a story, an observation, a little bit of nostalgia, a question I can’t stop thinking about — and grows from there. Colour is only one part of it. The names, imagery, details and atmosphere all come together to create a collection that feels like its own tiny universe.

Some of those worlds are playful and joyful. Some are romantic, strange, nostalgic or a little dark. I don’t believe creativity has to fit neatly into one aesthetic, and I definitely don’t believe growing up means leaving colour or imagination behind.

Every skein is hand dyed in small batches, with palettes thoughtfully curated to work beautifully both on their own and alongside the other colours in their collection. I love the details — unexpected undertones, the way colours shift beside one another, and all the little choices that make something feel special.

At the heart of it all, I’m just someone who really loves making things and believes the things we surround ourselves with can have a little more story, colour and magic in them.

These collections are the worlds I imagine.
