About Us!

Hey! Thanks for taking the time to visit my shop! My name is Megan and I am the hand dyer behind Purl Passion. I have been a long time knitter and am currently learning to Crochet but found the passion for hand dying my own yarn! I like to say that it is my perfect combination of art and science and uses my whole brain!

I am a mother to two children, ages three and six, and also work full time. I currently Live in Saskatchewan, Canada but am originally from Nova Scotia. My kids and my family are my whole world and it is my dream to be able to help support my family financially doing what I love in the community I love while also being able to spend time with my kids especially while they are young by not having to work full time outside my home. My yarns tend to be inspired by things in my everyday life and my kids. I love including them in the process and especially collaborating with my older child to come up with fun ideas and colours! Colour through the eyes of a child is always more fun! ❤️
